Breadshop Natural Foods originated crunchy granola breakfast cereal. The company was purchased from its founders in 1996. Lake Pacific’s principals acquired Breadshop in partnership with the Frontenac Company and the State of Wisconsin Investment Board. Breadshop was sold to the Hain Celestial Group in 1999. The company was based in Santa Cruz, CA. Our investors realized an IRR in excess of 30%.
